On Thursday the 2nd of July 2020 at 15:00 hrs DOB-Academy will host a virtual pubquiz on “offshore oil & gas” and “offshore wind energy” for our alumni!

The Pubquiz

During this pubquiz we will test your knowledge on topics from our courses, through quiz questions and images. Whoever scores the most points wins the game. A cozy and fun but most of all stimulating atmosphere come first in this quiz. However, the ambition to win is key in this game. The winner takes home an annual challenge cup, packed in our exclusive DOB-box with fantastic gadgets and delicious treats, made by our kitchen.

Virtual location

DOB-Academy, the starting point will be our phenomenal room Zephyr.

Date & Time

Our pubquiz will be available via live streaming. The offshore Wind energy pubquiz will be live on Thursday the 2nd of July at 15:00 hrs. There is also a possibility for drinks & bites, in your own living room, around the clock of 16:30 hrs.

Target Audience

This quiz is suitable for everyone who has participated in one of our DOB-Courses.

Guest speaker

Our guest speaker is Jan van der Tempel. Jan is the co-founder and director of DOBAcademy. He is an expert on offshore wind support structures and innovations.

Language

The pubquiz is in English, unless all participant are Dutch. In that case we will speak Dutch.

How to mix a Quarantini

GIN-ROSE LEMONADE: The hit of this moment is the Gin-Rose lemonade, an amazing variation on the Gin Tonic.

  • 70 ml of Gin
  • Fentimans Rose Lemonade (Rose Lemonade is made of the juice of limes and pure Rose Otto oil of the world-famous Rose Valley in Kazanlak, Bulgaria)

Mix all ingredients and serve with ice and a piece of lime, red berries or strawberries. Cheers!
