Course Content

The main goal of offshore wind farms is to generate electricity. Understanding this process is important for engineers and professionals working in this field. This two-day course provides an overview of both the onshore transmission network as well as offshore power networks and components. Furthermore, it serves as an introduction to the electrical physics principles behind this topic. Theoretical lectures will provide knowledge about each aspect of this sector covering the design, installation, operation and innovation regarding offshore power networks. Following these lectures, enhancing cases will challenge participants to put the newly gained knowledge into practice.
